New Year, New Things to Come.....

It wasn't my intention to start this site now.  I had it in my mind that the first post would run on New Years Day.  But the Spirit asked me, "What are you waiting for?".  My mind was saying, "WAIT! You have more preparations to do. Research more, write more, think of more ideas!" But when I sat in front of the computer to do what my mind said the Spirit took over and well, here we are................

I want to thank everyone who has visited the site and I pray you return and readership continues to grow.  I look forward to buliding this site with the additions of Good News articles, more poll questions, essays, posts and more.  I am also working on incorporating a Book Club featuring Christian authors in all genres of books.

I thank you all for supporting 30 and Saved and I thank the Lord for using me.  If you have any suggestions please leave comments or send me an email.  This site is not just for me, it's for all of us, so we may Glorify and Praise our God.

Merry Christmas!!!!!

This Christmas, let's remember what this day is truly about.  The birth of Jesus Christ is the reason for the season.  As we give gifts to one another let's give one back to Him.  I encourage everyone to take some time out of their festivities to thank Him.   Thank the Lord for the unconditional love, for suffering and dying making the ultimate sacrifice, for being ressurected, and for continuing to love us so much that he has promised to come back to us again.  Thank Him for your lives.  It's the least we could do.........

Welcome to 30 and Saved...........

Grace and Peace!  This blog is a forum to open and encourage continuous dialogue for the Christian community.  After being on Facebook for a while I noticed that among my peers there is a passionate fire blazing for Christ.  We are true to our relationship with the Lord and are not afraid to talk about it.  We are constantly praying for each other and offering words of encouragement, support, and accountability.  Now I could have started or joined a church ministry, or a cell group, or a Bible study at home but I constantly pray for God to use me and the special gifts He gave me to glorify His name.  It came to me that we thirty-somethings were raised in the Internet age.  Next to our cell phones, for most of us, it's one of our main ways of communicating. I also have always wanted to write.  So after asking God to show me how to put all of this together, 30 and Saved was placed on my heart. 

This site is for anyone and everyone.  Those who know the Lord as their Savior and those who don't. It's for those of us who are just learning how to Walk and those who have been Walking for years.  This is an outlet for us to speak out about the real issues in our lives, in the world, today.  I started this site to keep souls and win souls for God.  I pray that the Welcome Word (daily Scripture), essays, posts and polls be a blessing and that you enjoy the fellowship it brings.  So go ahead bookmark this site, email the link to your friends and family and let's share the Good News with each other.
